Lindsay and her team at LHK Interiors did an amazing job designing our remodel. My husband and I did not have very many ideas going into the remodel but Lindsay did a great job fleshing out our needs and turning them into a detailed concept.

Lindsay was also a great liaison between us and the general contractor with a unique ability to communicate between both parties. In addition, Lindsay has great knowledge of the market, knowing where to get great quality products at the best prices — she was great at working within our budget. We never felt pressure to buy anything or go in any particular direction.

Lastly, Lindsay and her team are easy going, very patient, and honest! We really appreciated that she was not afraid to let us know if something would not look right and provide us with alternate ideas.

Lindsay was recommended to me by some friends. I felt like I connected with her immediately on the phone, and again in person. Lindsay listens to you and makes suggestions based on what you like. She’s not afraid to suggest something a little out of your comfort range, so there’s always room for change and growth. But she doesn’t push you where you don’t want to go. We are living in our home during a whole house renovation, so phase 1 (one end of the house) is finished and work has begun on phase 2. I am thankful for her attention, ideas and support during this long process.

We began our design relationship with Lindsay Kjellberg of LHK Interiors in 2017, with what started as a complete kitchen re-do. During her initial visit to our home, we discussed what we liked, what we wanted to change and different design styles. From there, Lindsay made what we considered the hard job of making design choices easy by narrowing them down to fit our vision for the new kitchen. It was such a pleasure working with Lindsay that we asked her to help us with new window coverings, furniture, and decor for our living room, family room and a guest bedroom. The results have exceeded our expectations by a lot and we couldn’t be happier! We started our latest project, a hall/guest bathroom, with Lindsay at the beginning of this year. We can’t wait to see her transformation of this room too!

I don’t know if there are enough positive words to describe Lyndsay and her team. From star to finish the only word that comes to mind is exceptional! She expertly maneuvered through the challenges that COVID threw at everyone and we couldn’t be happier with how are home looks today. Can’t say enough good things about Lindsay. I went round and round on a tile pattern. I called Lindsay she came up with a pattern that looks great. Very knowledgeable on new products. Picked a bamboo floor, it feels great to stand on in the kitchen. Very happy with the colors inside and out. Highly recommend!

We hired Lindsay to help us with the layout of our master bathroom and also help design the kitchen and pick several of the finishes in our new home (carpet color, paint, fireplace stone, tile floors, cabinets). This home was one of the most stressful projects we’ve ever taken on, and Lindsay was so easy to work with. She designed the kitchen cabinet by cabinet and we absolutely love the end result. We wouldn’t change a thing! She’s also very respectful of the budget your working with and has many great connections to help keep costs within a budget. She was always great about getting back to me quickly and I ran many ideas past her before deciding on so many finishes. We highly recommend her for a small remodel or building a custom home. We recommend Lindsay Kjellberg of LHK interiors without reservation. We live in a small post war bungalow (1100 square feet) so space is at a premium. Our own notions as to how to maximize our kitchen were mostly hopeless fantasies. Then Lindsay took to the drawing board and came up with a plan that removed the wall between our kitchen and dining room and enlarged the arch into our living room. We now have a wonderful open space that includes an unobstructed view of our fireplace from throughout the kitchen. She put us in touch with an excellent contractor (All About Kitchens in Modesto) who turned her ideas into reality. She walked us through the entire process, including the selection of materials and finishes. In the end the final cost was substantially below the estimate. What more can be said?
